Doğru Denizcilik'e ait 1594 GRT'luk Türk bayraklı MEHMET ALİ-K isimli kuruyük gemisi İtalya'nın Cenova Limanı'nda 7 gün tutuklu kaldı.
İtalyan PSC müfettişleri tarafından kontrole tabi tutulan Türk bayraklı MEHMET ALİ-K isimli kuru yük gemisinde, Paris MoU çerçevesinde 23 eksik tespit edilerek, Cenova Limanı'nda 7 gün tutuklu kaldı.
MEHMET ALİ-K'nın tutulması ile birlikte, Ağustos ayında Avrupa Limanlarında tutulan Türk bayraklı gemi sayısı 3 oldu.
Bununla beraber Paris Memorandumu kayıtlarına göre, 2007 yılının ilk 8 ayında 394 Türk bayraklı gemi kontrole tabii olurken, bunların içerisinde Avrupa limanlarında tutulan Türk gemisi toplamda 25 oldu.
